Fort Lee BDA welcomes Bergen Care Pharmacy to the business community
FORT LEE, NJ—The Business District Alliance (BDA) of Fort Lee, joined by town councilman, Harvey Sohmer, welcomed Bergen Care Pharmacy to the business community with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 7, 2016. The new pharmacy is located on 1625 Lemoine Ave., across the street from the Whiteman Park Plaza.
Bergen Care Pharmacy sets itself apart from a traditional pharmacy by offering a wide selection of shoes in addition to all of your pharmaceutical needs. The selection of shoes ranges from Fitflop™ and Dr. Comfort to brands such as Nike, Toms and Sketchers. Owner Alex Kim explained that he not only wanted to provide customers with shoe brands that specialize in orthopedic and diabetic designs, but also wanted to offer the alternative to purchase popular brands and get a prescription for orthopedic inserts, all under one roof.
Aside from the unique fusion of shoe store and pharmacy, the interior of the business is also impressively modern, featuring bright lighting, chandeliers and multi-colored LED shoe displays.
“I wanted to open this pharmacy here because of the diverse community in Fort Lee,” said owner Alex Kim, also noting he was attracted to this spot because of its proximity to the business district.
Councilman Sohmer and BDA Manager, Heidi Levine, are both delighted to welcome Bergen Care Pharmacy and are eager to see the positive impact this will bring to the community. BDA Executive Director, Stuart Koperweis, added “We are excited to welcome Bergen Care Pharmacy to Fort Lee. They’ve put a unique spin on the traditional pharmacy and we’re sure residents will enjoy the variety of their services and products”.
