Fort Lee’s Business District Alliance Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Mavi’s Coffee and Patisserie

FORT LEE, NJ–– The Business District Alliance (BDA) of Fort Lee and Fort Lee council members celebrated the grand opening of Mavi’s Coffee and Patisserie with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 13, 2017. The modernly designed cafe is located on 237 Main St and offers outdoor seating during warmer months.

Mavi’s Coffee and Patisserie is a cafe and bakery with specialty coffees, teas and gourmet baked treats.  Owner Jun Kwon added, “We consider our coffee shop our home, it’s a positive, cozy, loving atmosphere. Our employees aren’t just baristas they are family to us. What makes Mavi’s different from other coffee shops are the traditional values it holds. From our coffee to our atmosphere, tradition is our culture. Fort Lee has been progressing over the years and we believe Mavi’s is the social environment Fort Lee needs. Mavi’s is not just a coffee shop and patisserie, it’s your home away from home.”

The cafe and bakery offers an upscale yet friendly atmosphere to all customers.  The chic and rustic furniture ties together the feel of an upscale city cafe.  Mavi’s encourages their customers to put their phones away and be present. In addition, they serve their drinks in mason jars and  serve various desserts using high quality ingredients such as European butter, organic and natural products. They offer “Steampunk Single Brew,” which utilizes special machines from Alpha Dominche, which is a temperature-controlled full immersion brewer that is essentially a system of steam and vacuum technology that mimics assorted brewing methods.

Fort Lee BDA Executive Director, Stuart Z. Koperweis, commented, “Mavi’s Coffee and Patisserie is a great addition to Main Street. They offer the community a beautiful atmosphere and unique delicacies that are sure to please residents and visitors alike.”
