New florist to brighten up the borough with fresh and personalized arrangements

FORT LEE, NJ—The Business District Alliance (BDA) of Fort Lee welcomed Flower Townhouse to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 16, 2015. The new florist on 200 Main Street puts together fresh, quality floral arrangements personalized for all occasions.

Lead by head designer and partner owner Daisy Parra, the professional florists at Flower Townhouse take an individualized approach to their arrangements. The designers work closely with clients to ensure their requested arrangements express exactly what they mean for any occasion. Flower Townhouse also delivers same day orders at no extra cost to the Fort Lee area.

“Your wish is our mission,” said partner owner Wilson Carreno. “That’s our motto. We focus all our arrangements on whatever feeling you’re trying to express. Happiness, love, sorrow, whatever you want to do or say.”

Growing up in Colombia, Wilson Carreno was raised around lush plantlife. “I was raised with flowers,” Carreno commented. “Believe it or not, my house was like this,” he said motioning to the colorful wreaths and bouquets throughout his shop.

“In Colombia we have the climate for so many things to grow. I love flowers. Believe me, when I was younger, I expressed everything with flowers. So I’ve always been involved with them.”

Daisy Parra and Wilson Carreno’s passion for floristry show in their commitment to helping clients express themselves through personalized arrangements. “There is a flower for every occasion, and we make it a point to be accommodating. Big or small, for whatever moment, we are happy to work with you,” said Carreno.

“We’re very proud to welcome Flower Townhouse to the borough,” said Stuart Z. Koperweis, Executive Director of the BDA. “The flowers are beautiful and fresh, and the florists are talented and attentive. Everyone here treats every occasion specially, even if the occasion is ‘just because’.”
